ask the RH to add stuff to balance out the difference? Past brides have any luck with this?

I need to explore this. I am WAY SHORT right now. Need to know more on this, is it a standard practice to ask the RH to throw stuff in if you don't make your minimum?

I don't know yet if I'll make my minimum, but I wouldn't hesitate to ask. That never hurts.

call me crazy, but i expect it from them! for example, if i'm 15 people short at $100 a head that's $1500 that i'm giving them for what??? i think the least they could do was work with us to get something for that $1500!!!! am i insane to think this?

You're NOT crazy! ASK! What's the worst they'll say, no. Besides, if you're 15 below, that's a big deal. I could see them saying no if you were 2-4 short. Usually, add ons are at the CH, from my research on here of those not meeting the min.

ETA: JT has some neat add ons for the CH, Martini Bar is $4/pp!

ASK THEM!!! We were 25 short and they helped us out.

Things to ask for: An extra hour (but then you have to pay an extra hour of OT for your DJ or band), chair covers, extra cocktail hour, if you are already paying extra for things then you can ask if they'll throw them in for free, etc.
