I've been putting it off, but it's time to start making appts. If you found the Dress, where did you go? Places with a plus size section or plus size samples helps. TIA!

I found mine at Paradise in Patchogue. Bridal Suite of Patchogue is a couple doors down too. If you go down to Main St. you can go to both in one day!

i went to Fantasia, Adriennes and Paradise... they were nice in all 3 places... i think i liked Paradise the best... and they had the best selection...

I found mine at The Bridla Suite in Patchogue. I got my prom dress there years ago and the woman who did my alterations was great (same woman today). I would DEF. recommend them

I bought my dress at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. The designer is Jasmine Haute Couture. This designer has panels built in the sample up to size 22, so ANY one up to that size can try the sample on and get an idea of how it looks.

I ordered mine from Paradise Bridal. I am not sure if they have plus size samples, but they will clip the dress for you.

Yesthats where I got my dress as well and Ithoguth that was great with the different zipper panels
Also Estlles dressy dresses has plus size bridal dresses ad they have some awsome dresses at great prices they jsut didn't carry the dress I wanted but I went and tried on alot of dresses

Actually I found and ordered mine at Estelles dressy dresses - my mom and i had gone to several salons and had less then satisfying experiences - i was frustrated and dissapointed so my mom said she heard Estelles had added a wedding section and that we should just go check it out (it was late in the afternoon after visiting other places) - the sales associates were so nice (they don't make commission so they arent pushy) and the one woman suggested 'the one' it was nothing like i thought i wanted and i was hesistant to try it on but then i figured what the heck - and now I love it!!!
Before ordering we continued to look at other dresses and ask other salons if they could order my dress but they all insisted there would be a $150 fee b/c the dress needs a hem to hollow measurement b/c it cant be altered - estelles didnt charge me any fee!!
I am so happy!!!

I went to Bridal Reflections in Carle Palce, macys in Manhasset and the Wedding Salon in manhasset. I ended up getting the dress at Bridal Reflections!

I went to bridal reflections in Massapequa - not sure about plus sizes, but you can ask. Gloria is great - knows what works and what doesn't.

I went to Lillette's - they have plus sized gowns. I wear between a 10 and 12, but I am busty. I was able to try on a size 12 gown (didn't close), but then seen what a size 18 would look like with the corset closed. Definitely give them a try - I worked with Carol and she was very nice
