do you email them a thank you? I ask b/c i sent three for easter and and all were viewed but no email back from these people. one happens to be for my sil who, if she sends me something, my bil asks both my husband and mil if i got it. so anyway, i write back a thank you, but what about you guys?

I usually send an email to the person that send me the card, but that's just me. I'm not sure if there is a particular ettiquette when it comes to this.

I do, unless it is from my mom. She sends for random holidays and 'cheer up' or 'thinking of you' ones all the time so I don't always reply to her. Plus I talk to her so often I just tell her then.

Sometimes, but I see it as an alternative to a mailed card, which I wouldn't necessarily acknowledge either.
