...how would you're Platinum Wedding would look? What kind of add-ons, or how different you're wedding would look?
(this is what I was thinking about when falling asleep last night)
I would fly out all of my friends and family from my home country and FH's out here, and pay for their entire stay here; including paying for fun activities for them to do. I would keep my RH (love it!) just will move it to a bigger room b/c the party would be at least thrice bigger. And also would add many other food stations for the CH. Would keep my dress even though it's very inexpensive. I would get a huge diamond bracelet for DOJ. Would splurge on decor: white draping and beading. Would also get the best entertainment (not sure what that would entail tho )
Ugh..... Fantasizing is awesome!

Re: If you had a $1M budget....
would you guys keep you're current date? I would change it to August 12th (that's the anniversary of me and FH's 1st date). Obviously we didn't get this date cause we can't afford summer rates, unfortunately.

We would fly our close friends and family down to the British Virgin Island and have a weekend wedding celebration at either Peter Island or The Bitter End Yacht Club....it's literally heaven down there!

i would keep the same date & all vendors the same. i would also pay for all the bridesmaids expenses. but other then that i wouldn't change a thing. i would use the rest of the money to buy a house & new car. then save the rest for the future.

Re: If you had a $1M budget....
Omg, where to begin.
I would definitely have all the special lighting that I want but cannot afford.
I would have HUGE floral and candle centerpieces for my tables.
I would buy my Manolo's that I'm dying for, but are almost as much as my dress.
I would buy the most expensive Indian outfit for the reception along with all the bling to wear with it.
I would get limo's for my parents and FH's parents to take them wherever they want to go the day of the wedding.
I would have more decorations in the church.
I would give a bigger donation to the church for using their sanctuary.
I would have a bigger candy buffet.
I'm sure there are other things but I can't think of them at the moment.

I'd probably keep my date. We're a Saturday night in June, and I'm VERY happy with that. If anything, I'd buy someone else out and do it in 2009 instead of 2010. Not that I don't love you girls, but I really didn't want to wait a year and a half to get married. But there were no Saturday nights left between August-October in 2009 except Halloween.

Re: If you had a $1M budget....
church i love in downtown brooklyn. transportation for all. lighthouse at chelsea piers for reception. overnight stays for everyone at a chelsea hotel and a hot afterparty. probably hire sherwood triart (love their work) and another nyc photog and have awesome pics of me in old cab on cobblestone streets in brooklyn. then a penthouse suite for FH/DH and me for a few nights before flying off to our round-the-world 2 month honeymoon
as for the date - our anniversary is august 6th and i would like that. but we are really not summer ppl. and i am sooo happy with my date because its a saturday and its my grandparents anniversary too!!!!

I would probably change my date... maybe in the Summer. I would definitely move it up, since in this fantasy I am so rich and don't need to hold off on the wedding until we save enough money!
