If you had a choice, what would you choose? (Poll)

Would you get,
#1 Chair covers
#2 Photo montage, the screen they put up next to the DJ. It shows a clip of baby pictures and any other family pics. Then they take pictures through out the night of guests dancing, and show them on the screen while everyone eats.

Bought are about the same price!!

ok honestly, i think that chair covers are a waist (just b/c I never noticed them, even now that I'm Plnning my wedding...

Do you really think your guest are going to watch the montage? I know, I always enjoy the dinner conversation at weddings

I went to a wedding that had the chair covers and I noticed them right away. Though my FH thinks they are a waste.

I also went to a wedding that had the montage. I loved it, and thought it was just so cool.

Thanks for your opinion!! I want to now what others think.

If you noticed the chair covers and liked them enough to think about them, then I would think maybe you should have them, & if you thought I want that for my wedding,when you saw the montage go for it.

Everyone has different MUST Have's, I must have a cigar roller after dessert, & I have to have the vallet put personalized air fresheners in each of our guest cars with a pic of & & just married w/ our date...

Spend the money on something that will last beyond the day... rings, photo, honeymoon upgrade. Seriously, as an older past bride who was the last one of their friends and family to get married no one notices the chair covers after everyone has been seated and half the men put their jackets on the back of the chairs. Also, most people like to see the baby pictures on the guest sign-in table or in the actual video but after the ceremony most guests want to eat and dance on the dancefloor not watch a video.

JMO, but I've heard that from a lot of past wedding guest that is was a cute idea but usually went on for two long.

We didnt do covers but we did do the video screens and people loved them. But we did a church recap before we entered the hall... So people who couldnt come to the church got to see us.

I think the condition of the chairs could help decide this...if they are super ugly then go with the chair covers...like if they are those metal ones that look institutional...otherwise go for the photo montage....though in reality, i'd probably use the money for something else...especially if it was coming out of my pocket...say the HM (souvenirs...a really awesome dinner.....upgrade to a really nice hotel the night before or of your wedding.....i personally think both are a 'waste'....i can live without them...but that's JMO

I disagree, maybe not everyone will notice them, but I think it will make a huge difference in your pictures. Chair covers add a very polish look to any room.

Chair covers aren't such a big deal to me. We're probably just getting two for me and my FH to set our table out from the rest. My FH hates being in and taking pics, so I wouldn't get a photo montage. If your place has a lounge or fireplace, you can always just place pics of you and your FH around the room for guests to look at for A LOT less $$! lol

Can I vote for a chocolate fountain? Every showcase I've been to, THAT has been the big fuss that guests make. I don't know if you're having one already, but that might be something you can spend any extra $$ on if you want guests to have the WOW factor.

I picked neither as these things aren't important to me. But I do remember the chair covers at my brothers wedding 10 years ago and how they dressed up the room beautifully.

Chair covers are definitely noticed, I've had many people comment on them for how beautiful they looked (I had white covers, lavender sashes, and a plum rose in the sash bow).

My vote for neither may not count because our venue is a restaurant so they have beautiful upholstered non catering hall chairs that do not need covers. And the bar area has four flat screen tv's (that FI put in.. his business) so we will make our own montage to play all day.

So... should I have these available at no cost and had to choose one.... It would really depend.... what do your chairs look like? I actually like those cheesy bamboo catering hall chairs and would not cover them. If they were vinyl/chrome pizza place chairs, I'd go for the covers.

If you look at your room and imaging guests standing around and the existing chairs do not stand out like a sore thumb... go for the montage.

I notice details like chair covers right away that is why I am getting them. I think it finishes a room off- when you have the pretty linens and the flowers and the chairs done it just looks like it goes together IMO. I really dont like the chairs at my RH and so I ordered chair covers from Table Wear a vendor on here.

It really depends on what the chairs look like and what you like. If you hate the chairs, go for the covers...if you don't - skip that.

If you like the idea of the photo montage, go with it. I think it's cute, but unnecessary - you could get the same idea with an album or photo collage on your place card or gift table.

Either is a fine idea, but both are extras...would you rather save the money or have one of these?

Okay, so my chairs are not bad at all. I actually just looked at DivaBrides review, and she had no chair covers at the hamlet. It looked beautiful!! So since FH, My best friend, and my sister don't like the chair covers, I probably won't get them. THough I do love them!!
I still like the photo montage, but I guess I will skip it.

I guess I will save the money, and spend it on something else. Maybe I will upgrade the cocktail hour or something.
