If you had/ are having a DOC....

What are some of the things you are putting them in charge of?

Im in the process of making my list for her and want to know if Im missing anything,

Great post, we are thinking of a DOC also and I would love to know how girls experiences were!

I put my doc in charge of:

-paying/tipping all vendors
-bringing flowers to DH's parents house the morning of (flowers were dropped of to my house)
-putting up pew bows at church
-bringing photo sign in and card box to hall (I didn't bring them with me the day of the final payment)

Can't think of anything else. Just make sure you are very specific Jen, about what you want your DOC to do.

1. We will have her take all the flowers from the church and place the non-standing arrangements areound the place.
2. Take poloroids of guests, put them in the book and then during the reception have that guest write something meaningful to the bride and groom
3. Make suire the DJ plays all the songs
4. Make sure the cake is like the pic
5. Make sure the votive place card holders are not just scattered all over the table but nicley postioned for pics
6. Check all floral deleiveries are correct
7. call all vendors, week of wedding an finalize all times
8. If we decide to have her stay for the entire wedding then we are going to ask her to take apart the CP and make individual BK's for each female guest so that no one person thinks they can claim it.


I am sure there is a bunch of stuff that I am forgetting.... but I hope this helps

- handing out programs
- handing out rose petal cones
- distributing/putting all the flowers (bot's) for the gentlemen at church
- organizing the children when we were ready to walk down
- confirming w/vendors
- handing out all tips/payments
- confirming room setup - arrangements on tables, favors, etc.
- organizing the wish bowl - reminding guests
- replenishing anything as needed - slipper basket, favor tables, etc.
- confirming must take photos w/photographer
- organizing BP for pictures
- assisting where necessary
- transporting items from my home, to church, to hall

a lot of the above (LOVE the Polaroid idea! May steal that!)...

plus handing long stemmed roses to all our lady guests.

And setting up our candy buffet!
