Im not a big fan of forced attention like that. Im in no way shy, but wouldnt want my private moments written out in an article.

We did have that chance in a Westchester newspaper. We opted not to do it because it was through our salsa studio and we didn't want to feel obligated to keep taking lessons. Also, I think that I would have been freaked out not having control over what exactly was written. I'd rather write the piece myself!

FH and I met playing pool. Our STD's have a little bit of the pool theme to them. Our league operator sent the STD to the national office, and they called and asked if they could put our 'how we met' and engagment story in the next magazine issue. The league has close to 10,000 members nationwide.
The story is being printed.
ETA : I guess for me, that's a yes.

It depends on the article. If it's about couples and how they met - sure. If it's about how much I'm spending and the craziness of a NY bride - then probably not.
