If you had the choice of being famous, would you want to be?

If you had the choice of being famous, would you want to be?

I rather be famous in one field.. and be respected.. and also be a face in the crowd.. I like it like that. I would not want to be hounded everyday and everyone and have people follow me everywhere.

Re: If you had the choice of being famous, would you want to be?

I was watching an interview with Brad Pitt and he was saying how his house is SO BIG that when he calls hello it echos and Jennifer Aniston won't even hear him...Yeah I feel REALLY BAD for him...At least I will never lose my FI in a tiny apt..! But I wouldn't want to be recognized wherever I went...Ah the joys of being totally anonymous But famous for curing cancer or something would be nice!

I'd like to be a famous hockey player. Something I love to do, and pays well.

FH would too! He has played since he was a kid, and was even offered a paying position in a South Carolina oturnament team, but turned it down

I would.. but only for a week or so and then go back to my world now.. I don't think I would be able to handle all that publicity and criticism from people that don't know me

Re: If you had the choice of being famous, would you want to be?

well, since i wanted to be an actress since i was in utero, then fame was something that i thought about and grew to accept if it would occur, so yes, i wouldn't mind it, but only for something good. we're talking famous, not imfamous.

In my fantasy world, I would love to play with DMB, or would like to become a pitcher for the Yankees.

A girl can dream cant she?

Re: If you had the choice of being famous, would you want to be?

I would want to be the next Madeline Albright or Ruth Bader Ginsberg, (Guess what I do for a living), but beyond that NO!

Some friends were encouraging me to audition for the second season of the apprentice. I told her that I wanted my 15 minutes of fame to be for something better than that.

Although the $$ woudl be great, but its not worth the loss of anonymity. Think about it, do you know five famous person whose marriage survived? Don't think so.

Re: If you had the choice of being famous, would you want to be?

call me pathetic, but i've always wanted to be friends with a celebrity. That way I can know all the cool people, get into great places, but still be sort of anonymous.

I always wanted to be a famous tennis player.

Or be on The Real World (without embarassing myself in the process)

When i was a psych major, i wanted to be a shrink to the stars! LOL Yeah i'm a dork!

I always wanted to work at a radio station, or MTV, or something along those lines. I'm such an entertainment junkie! But i know so many useless entertainment trivia facts that id like to put them to good use.

(ahhh i have many dreams)

Re: If you had the choice of being famous, would you want to be?

I would looooove to be famous! I would be like Paris Hilton (not the bad parts) just the fact she doesnt hide from the paparazzi. You cant hide from them so might as well flaunt it!

Re: If you had the choice of being famous, would you want to be?

I dont think I could handle that and I KNOW FH couldnt!

In people magazine there was a pic of Britney Spears with her new 'beau' they were sitting on the beach and the pic was actually from behind but you could see there were about 20 photograhers between her and the ocean! I think you get alot of perks as celebrity but you miss out on alot of simple pleasures!

I would want to be like a soap star or something not nearly as followed as a movie star!

Re: If you had the choice of being famous, would you want to be?

I would love to be famous - but not to the point of ensuing riots :) I would love the attention, I just know it! The money woudn't be so bad either.... I look at celeb couples like Carmen and Dave and even Jessica and Nick, and I totally envy them sometimes bc they are so obviously in love with each other AND they're absolutely loaded! :) Just think, how much nicer would our lives be with our men if we never had to worry about money anymore! :) LOL - I know my husband would buy every single game console and video game on the market if we had 'famous' money! :) Great question!!
