Would you splurge more on a longer and nicer honeymoon. Or a more expensive/ lil bit nicer reception hall??? Im on a tight budget 2k more on a nicer honeymoon or 2k more on the hall?? What to do?

Splurge on the honeymoon! The wedding is a celebration of the two of you with your family but the honeymoon is a celebration of just you two! Enjoy it!!

Re: If you had to choose
Ummm..its hard for me answer, because we splurged for everything.......! The HM was very expensive too because we had a 2 story villa HM suite with private plunge pool, butler, on top an ocean bluff............we stayed for a week and half............
I really dunno what I would do ???

2K more on a honeymoon will go waaaaay further than 2K more on a hall. Definitely the honeymoon!!!!!!

Re: If you had to choose
Nicer honeymoon. I'm quite happy with Timber Point for the reception. There were a few places that looked nice too, but they wanted a much bigger guest minimum, and we don't really want a big wedding. We're happy with the people that are coming, we don't want to invite acquaintances or people we haven't seen in years or coworkers who aren't good friends. We want the people we really care about there, and we have no need to show off. So, honeymoon, definitely!

Splurge on the honeymoon. Your wedding party is great but it is for everyone. After all of the planning you and your FH need some quality time together.
