Did your puppy have alot of accidents in the beginning? How long does it take them to get trained usually to go in the right place? Thanks!

Not to scare you , but male pugs are some of the hardest dogs to train.... I dunno why.
It took frankie (my pug) about three weeks to 'get it' on the wee wee pad...he went outside pretty easily after that. He is not fixed, so he still has minor 'accidents' sometimes.
samehere I have Otis trained to go on the wee wee pads and he is really good at doing that but sometimes he just goes on the floor for no reason!! so just train chewie and he will get it!!!

I put the wee wee pads next to the door, then outside the door then outside... some how she figured it out...alot of praising and treats too!
It took time, but I think there is special stuff you can put on the pads to attract them to pee...that worked too...
