Re: if you host christmas...

christmas day morning.

matts dad will still be in the hosp. for christmas so his mom & sis are coming by us now.

when we go to their house - we usually eat leftovers from christmas eve (all the antipasto things) - and than a late lunch/dinner of lasange or something around 3ish.

so i have no idea what i am doing. i can make lasagne - but i need more food than that.

should i do more a breakfast thing? or lunch thing?

help!

This stinks.

I would say do a brunch thing. Do some bagels, french toast, maybe a pasta dish. What time are they coming...early?

What about honey/pineapple glazed baked ham or turkey with some side dishes?

Well, your italian, so that means your eating nothing but fish the night before, so I'd go with a pasta dish (Liked baked ziti) & some type of meat. How about a Ham, like Sylvia suggested? Maybe a roast beef?

Wait.. I just read your post again...

If your going breakfast, I'd break out the Pannetone with some chocolate filled croissants & maybe some cookies... Id also get a nice friut platter with a nice cup of espresso & annisette.. Yum.

Day morning.

what about a strata

french toast

fruit salad...maybe some pastries...coffee tea juice. the end.

Re: if you host christmas...

My parents tradition is brunch.
Quiche is my favorite part. They make a big bowl of scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, croissants, and pancakes.
And we drink pointsettas and mimosas.

Do you drink hemlock too?
Or is this an actual alcoholic drink that I've never heard of?

I would respond with a smile and:

Are you still taking your anti-beeyotch pills or did you skip your dose this morning?
