If you stayed at a hotel and married at the RH

how many limos did you get? what type?

we are staying at the hotel and going straight to JT for pics before the ceremony (as of now this is our plan) but i dont want FH to see me until we get to JT.....

did any of you do something like this? i was thinking maybe FH and his groomsmen could go to JT first in a town car and then a rolls royce could take me and girls - that way we could have the rolls to do pictures....then maybe the town car could go back to the hotel to pick up our parents and bring them to JT - so they can get in some pictures as well (and so they dont have to take the shuttle with all the hotel guests)....

im trying to cut costs somewhere and to me limos are a waste if we are only going to be in them for 10 minutes - is that going to look cheap? be honest

ets: by town car i mean a small regular limo - not a truck limo

i'm getting ready at a hotel and getting married at JT as well. we are getting limos b/c i don't want to ask anyone to drive me around and what car am i fitting in with my huge dress and we are also going to take pics at a loc b4 we get to JT
i think you can totally get a town car for fh and have it go back for your parents then a car for you and your girls.... no guests are even going to be there to even think you're being cheap. that's not cheap at all. HTH

we had one limo which made two trips. It is not uncommon at all. They picked up the guys...dropped them off, and then went back for the girls. I was in the rolls How many girls do u have though? B/c I know our rolls royce only fit 3 people.

DH and his parents and best man stayed at the hotel the night before. The best man drove all of them there. A town car brought DH and BM to the RH the day of the wedding.

I came from home and drove myself in my car.
I picked up my sis and niece and we went to have our hair and makeup done and then went to the RH to get dressed and do pics before the ceremony.
The best man drove my car from the RH to the hotel and then came back in a town car with DH's parents. This way, DH and I would have our own car the day after our wedding.

A limo did not matter to me. At the end of the reception, a town car took DH and me to the hotel, another town car took DH's parents and the best man.

Our OOT guests declined transportation and drove themselves, otherwise we would have rented a shuttle van from the same company we did the town cars with.

our limos i thought were pretty cheap. we had one pick up DH, his mom and 4 GMs at the hotel, one pick up me my dad and mom and sister, and take us to the RH. after the wedding we had another one take me, DH, and the 4 GMs back to the hotel.

DH did the limos but i think it was somewhere around $350 or $400. Royalty

im on the fence about getting a rolls royce - i just think it might be cute for pictures but do i really need a picture of me standing in front of a car? now that is the question maybe ill ask AG waht she thinks about it - since she'll be taking pictures that day...

we booked 2 black lincoln stretches, one for the ladies and one for the guys however we stopped at a park in between (only paid a little extra). luckily for us though my black lincoln stretch got stuck in traffic so camelot sent us a hummer which everyone got into to to the RH.

I think we're just going to take our cars. Well, my parents will drive me. I can squish my brother with my dress I think that hubs will drive his car, so we can get back to our place that night. the expense to do both just doesn't seem necessry. No limos anyway!!

0. Our hotel was right next to the RH so we just walked. Their driveways are attached. LOL.

we got an escalade that will fit everyone. We will be at the hotel and are taking pics at the garden city gazebo. He is going to drive the guys first to the gazebo and then pic us up. we will see eachother for the first time at the gazebo for pics and then we will all go back together. you could do something similiar. you have the car for a couple hours!

I am going to do the same. Have the limo drive the guys and then come back and pick up the girls. It seems like a waste but, I want to be with my girls on the way and I don't want to see FH before I get to the woodlands even thought we are taking pictures before the ceremony.

what about getting the rolls & just doing a regular towncar for the guys- we got an amazing deal on a rolls from camelot- it was a pick-up drop off deal just so we could have it for the pictures. gl
