I would send a gift and card. It doesn't have to be as much as you would give if you were going to the wedding, but something to recognize their union and show that you appreciated the invitation (even if you didn't!!!)

I think it would depend on who it was---if I thought I was invited to fill a min. or for a gift then I prob wouldn't But if it was a close friend or family, then i would send a card and either a gift or money

Re: If you were invited to a wedding and couldn't go...
it depends, for me, how well or close I know the persone....
I had a very, very (removed) cousin (not even a blood related cousin), who got married this past june....literally, never talk to her...so we just declined and didn't send anything, now if a close cousin/friend got married I would send something

I would send a card with either a check or a gift. Many did this when they couldn't attend my shower and I expect that they're going to do the same if they can't come to the wedding.
