Okay ladies I would LOVE some advice. I live in Seattle and am on long island until August 24th and need to get all of my in person wedding planning done while I am here. This is what I have done so far, if you were me what else would you want to get done in person?
Venue booked: Insignia for August 15, 2015 Hotel rooms blocked, Courtyard by Marriot Hair and Make up trial booked (hoping I will like it and book them!) Meeting with Complete Wedding Packages this week to hopefully book photography, video & DJ Florist booked, Wicks in Baldwin Dress ordered and bridesmaids have started ordering their dresses Officiant booked Doing cake tasting this week at Alpine Bakery
So what else would you want to with your family and MOH in person? I know I still have plenty of time just trying to make the most of the time that I am on long island now.

If you were me...
The only things that come to mind are invitations (and Save the dates if you haven't already) and maybe plan what you're going to do for favors. You sound like you have a lot of stuff taken care of already!

You sound like you got most of the big important things taken care of! I LOVE Alpine bakery their cannoli cake is the best I've ever had!

This! You got so much done! Definitely look into the invitations and save the dates. You are really ahead of the game.

Thanks for the replies! We just got our engagement pictures back and I have started looking at save the dates. The hotel is giving us cards with info on how to block the rooms, do you think I should mail that with the std so people can book their rooms early? And my FH and I have picked the invitations we want, so I think it is all coming together!!

Isn't Keri the best?! Yes we are having the ceremony there but still haven't decided if we are doing it outside or inside. Are you doing the ceremony there?

I think it's a great idea to send the hotel cards with the stds just make sure your hotel will accept reservations this early first.
