If you were to recommend...

a place to look at bridal gowns that's reasonably priced, has a good selection & great customer service....who would you say?

Going to make my 1st appointment to go dress shopping

I had really good experiences at paradise bridal in patchogue and bridal suite in bay shore.

I think a lot of it has to do with who you get.

I'm def going to David's Bridal because there is one of the Vera Wang White dresses that I am in LOVE with and I really think it's the one and I haven't even seen it in person, but I want to go to a couple other places first so I have some to compare it with AND so I get the full experience :)

I liked bridal reflection ...they tried to make the numbers fit my budget

Village Bridal in Babylon they were very nice and not pushy and you can take pictures

Bridal Reflections (in Massapequa) is AMAZING i bought my dress from them. I had Darnel she was wonderful!!

The first time I visited BR I had an amazing experience. Then I went back to order my dress and felt that I was getting a pressure sales job from the manager. She wanted a deposit them and there - told me last chance to order dress because it was part of a trunk show. Then she gave us the wrong date for the end of the trunk show - she lied to cover up each lie. I ended up not ordering the dress from them and found a different dress in another salon. They surely missed out! I love my new dress!

I had a bad experience with Bridal Reflections in December with a bridesmaid dress so I don't think I will go back, they insisted I order 2 sizes up and extra length because of my height 5'7', even though the sample size fit me great and I had room. Well they insisted and instead of my dress being $300 it ended up being $400 then I had to pay almost $100 in alterations taking off all the extra material they insisted I order... But then I've heard of other people having awesome experiences!

I haven't been to many places but David's Bridal was VERY REASONABLE compared to the other places I have gone too. I'm talking about gorgeous dresses under $1000. I do recommend making an appt with them bc they can be very busy. I went to the one in Lake Grove

Village Bridal was great. And they let you take photos which I needed. Lilettes does NOT. Ugh,That place was not for me. Wide selection though. if you can put on a dress and 'know' then you'll prob be fine there but that was not me! After I left a store if I didn't take pics I barely remember what it looked like.

I second village bridal. They have a lot of dresses and can work with you budget. I am getting my dress there and they have been great so far!

Lillette's

I chose based on the designers they carry for the first two stores and the convenience of lcoation and good reviews for Lillette's.

Anyone been to the wedding center?

I think I am also going to Nouveau Bridal in Merrick this weekend for the Disney Fairy Tale Wedding trunk show!

Here's my thoughts on the wedding center (if you're talking about the one in Commack) 'ehhh' they're OK, they definitely have a large selection but their customer service pretty much ****** when I had to get a bridesmaids dress there, but then again I've heard great things from other people.
