If you weren't saving for a wedding

What you do with the extra $?

I really really really have been in the mood to go to Vegas (especially since every hotel is basically giving rooms away due to the economy) But my FH and I, after reviewing our finances, realized there is still no way we can afford to go right now

So what would you do if you weren't spending your money on a wedding?

Go on vacation...FH and I have never been on vacation together so I think we'd go someplace nice and warm. Probably we'd take FSD and go to Disney

nothing. absolutely nothing. ill just be saving a shytload of money and eventually sellling our place and buying a bigger home. o wait, were going to do that anyway.

whatever money i spent on clothes and gourmet food shopping every freakin 2 days i am using twds the wedding. instead i do all my shopping in reg supermarkets and fruit stands and havent bought clothes in what seems like forever.

we are fortunate enough not to have to pay for a wedding so we are saving for a house and FH is paying off his student loans

thats a great question!!! if i didnt have to pay for this wedding i'd be paying off debt & probably wasting it on nonsense. i think this wedding is actually helping me to be smarter with my money...not going on shopping sprees, using coupons and realizing that its ok to bargain to get the most for my money

We travel a lot...so if we had vacation time...we would travel. What to do with the rest of the $$ we would def save to buy property.
