I really really really have been in the mood to go to Vegas (especially since every hotel is basically giving rooms away due to the economy) But my FH and I, after reviewing our finances, realized there is still no way we can afford to go right now
So what would you do if you weren't spending your money on a wedding?

pay off the rest of my credit card debt; take FH's kids to Disney; go on a vacation just FH and I; and buy stuff for the house that I have been putting off b/c they arent necessities...and maybe redo my kitchen

buy a house...we want a house so bad, but the economy is terrible and we don;t have a big enough down payment cuz all our extra money goes to the wedding. We are hoping to get one a year or so after the wedding, but we will see how the market is then

Us too!! a bunch of my FHs cousins are going the end of april.. sadly we're probably not going (unless airfare drastically drops!!)

We would be saving for a house. As it is we are living in my 'house' although I try to make it our 'home' but is just not big enough for us and the two big dogs and my FHs materials, my pack rat accumumations and the fact that he needs a corvette that should be garaged.
After the wedding we are going to continue to be on our saving spree and see how quickly we can get out of the little ranch and into a nice, big, house to make our forever, together home.
