If you won Lotto and didn't have to work anymore, how would you occupy your time?

I love daydreaming about this stuff

I would:

Continue studying Italian until I was fluent.

I'd take more photography classes and build my own dark room.

I'd take dance lessons.

I'd travel like crazy! (with or without DH )

The spa would be my second home

I'd work out for as long as I wanted and have a personal trainer help me with flexibility.

I'd take some cooking classes for fun (just to get better).

Learn to sew.

Oh yeah, and I'd shop a little
I'd probably wind up hiring a personal shopper to help me pick out clothes because shopping is soooo time consuming!

Learn carpentry (I may do this anyway)
Spend some time at my job with the kids as a volunteer, maybe a couple days a week.
Travel, maybe even figure out a way to live overseas for a little while.
Take my family on a huge vacation and/or buy a vacation house someplace for us all to use.
Buy lots of things for DH.
Help my parents retire.
Spend more time painting and doing crafty things.
Buy a winery in the Finger Lakes.

I'd spend my time doing research for projects I've been working on for a few years

I'd take swing dance lessons

I'd travel. a lot.

I'd learn sign language, how to fix cars and maybe how to surf.

*pay off all student loans
*get married ASAP
*buy a house near my family, because i'll never be able to afford it without the lotto
*send my parents to Italy with the highest quality everything - they've been wanting to do it for their 25th anniversary (this Oct), but it's a lot more expensive than they anticipated.
*start poppin' out the babies.

still finish my doctorate but not have to do it on loans

ETA: Anyone ever see the lion/large animal rescue place that some former Hollywood star created? I think it is called Shambala? I might make someplace like that for abused circus or zoo animals.

After quitting my job I would:

I would buy two houses, the one we would live in and a summer one, with offices for DH where he could do his school work...(he's a teacher)

I would send my family and DH's family on vacation...LOL

I would hire cleaning ladies to clean my houses...(god I hate cleaning)

I would of course go shopping....

I would go on a little vacation myself...

I'm sure there are other things I would do, but this was all I could think about off the top of my head.

WORD! cooking and baking classes always seem so fun! And you learn how build a cake as big as a buick!

I would take ONE YEAR where all I would is TRAVEL . This was always a dream of mine. I would be on the road, no set plans, one of those folks who just never has a set home -- and would go place to place and just spend a few days here, a few weeks there.. until I got it all out of my system.

Then after that year, I would settle back into life with DH, in our beautiful house on the water, and start babymaking ...

Once the 2-3 kids arrive and I get the proper daycare in place ( J/K) I would take what little else free time I had and take art classes, Italian classes, pottery... just things I'd never dream of doing now but always sounded cool to me

I'd buy season tickets for the Yankees and try to go to ALL the games And even take little weekend trips to see the Yanks on the road.. AND in the post season I would travel with the team and catch everyone of those game too

Oh yea, I'd also have to factor in weekly visits to the spa and constant pampering sessions, since my life sure sounds tough ya know?

OMG...did you see that wedding cake last night on the Food Network program: 'The secret life of...'

This cake had to be put together with cranes!!! and it could feed up to 59,000 people!!!!!
