Personally, only one or two million...i'd pay off my loans and the loan for a friend, buy fh and me new cars, a nice house, nothing crazy, take family on a vacation, donate some and sock some away...but i'd keep working. but it would be nice to just live and not worry about the mortgage or loans...ahhh, to dream.

Re: If you won the lottery, how much would be enough?
After the day I am having I would say at least $5-- earlier I probably would have answered less money.
I want to continue working, but you know what I would love, if I won more, I would go work in a poorer school district and then at the end of each year I would pay for one students college tution. I would love to set up something like that so that at least 1 person didn't have to struggle to pay for college.
Sorry just having one of those days.

Posted by bedda26 I dream about it all the time. How I win the lotto and tell my boss to my job and salary and shove it where the sun does not shine.
I really want to say 'I know you think I like it here but I have hated every waking second of the past 3+ years ... there have been times that ripping my eyes out sounded more appealing then coming here...' And walk out! Ahhhh, we can all dream, can't we???

Call me greedy but I want 20million after taxes. I want land lots of land under stary skys above. I want DD and #2 to have anything their little hearts could dream of. I NEVER want to worry about college or any other payments. I want to travel. I want DH to get back surgery at the best hospitals... And I want to do a little shopping for myself.
I'm with you - I'm thinking the 33 Mil for tonight's drawing barely cuts it. Take the lump sum and you're down to 15 Mil or so, knock about half off that on taxes. Then stand back while the relatives come running with hands stretched out. I'd want to be able to quit my job, enjoy the good life, and still take care of family, charity, etc. Heck, I want one of those 100+ Million winners!!! Not that I'd turn down any winnings!
