Tell us your crappiest gift.

Everyone gave me food. Like everyone. I got some German cake schadenfreude, whatever the helll it is from someone who knows that I'm allergic to flour.

Merry Christmas y'all.

I don't get gifts, I eat other people's gifts.
I have my secret santa tomorrow, so I'll let you know...
BTW- Fruit basket is a lame gift.

Maybe to most people, but I'd like one. Because it won't require a shot of adrenaline later on.

I specifically told my office NOT to get me any Christmas presents because I don't want to get THEM anything. So, since no one listens, I will post some of my fantastic gifts.

-A really cheap looking (paint is peeling off and it is still in the box) ornament
-An ornament with my name on it (in case I forgot it?)
-A craft fair style tissue box cover - I ABHOR those! What's worse is that there are 3-ply tissues inside (I only like 2-ply!)
-A disposible camera with small hot pink photo album
-A gingerbread scented candle of a (duh) gingerbread house. (I'm allergic to anything scented.)

Thankfully, I did get some good gifts....

I got a candle rack with candles. Candles are nice and all, but I have about a batrillion already, plus why would I need a rack?

I love fruit baskets. Not sure why. I want someone to buy me Fruit of the MOnth club one of these days cause I want it even though Ihaven't eaten a piece of fruit (besides cherry pie) in weeks.

When I was a hardcore vegan my relatives would ALWAYS get me milk chocolate and crap like that. It pis-sed me off cause they KNEW I didn't eat it and made no attempt.

Milk-less diets are a foreign concept to some.

I got one good work gift -- a bunch of cookies that I CAN eat! I gave away the truffles and the rest b/c Dan-o says he's a pudge.

I told DH about 28 times I want Babycakes for Christmas, but I don't think he is getting them for me. I even showed him how close it is when he is in Brooklyn doing appraisals - alas.....

There's always Valentine's Day - they'll ship it to you!

We only get edible treats here, of which I'm eating an incredibly delicious brownie as we speak!! The only ones who get actual gifts are the big-wigs of which I am not one of.

We do secret santa tomorrow. Every year I put thought into what I buy and get my person something appropriate and personal for them, and every year I get crap. Last year my secret santa got me a couple bottles of lotion, lame-o.

Everyone has been giving food with the exception of one co-worker who gave us all these magnetic note pads...strange.

We had our secret santa last week, and thankfully my company does it the way EVERY company should do it. You write your name on a piece of paper along with your top 2 choices of what you want. This way no one is ever disappointed. (And I got my 2nd choice....cookbooks)

BTW, I am giving out candy to everyone tomorrow...just to be mean since everyone has been gaining weight anyway.

Yeah, but I will surely order so much that I will OD by then. Damn my lack of willpower!

I love fruit baskets. ESPECIALLY from Harry & David. Has anyone tried their pears?
