thereby having to sleep at the party without you...

I would be pi$$ed off at him for not being responsible, in consideration of my feelings. But I wouldn't worry about anything happening. I would probably be jealous. Aren't there water taxis?

You miss the 1am ferry, there's still a water taxi. Yes, an expensive way to get to the mainland, but who really wants to sleep at a house that 20 people are renting for the summer? You end up sleeping on the floor - yuck.

or in SOME cases of people - or so I have HEARD.... they sleep in the wrong house, thinking it's their friends house... and then the people in the house wake up and ask then who the hell they are?

i am crazy and would go nuts on him...then after i blow up...i would calm down..the trust will sink in and i would get over it.

So true. Or the people whose house it is find the person sleeping and paint their toenails and write things all over the person.
It's really easy to miss the 1am ferry. It just happens.

Agree! I would be livid! He would definitely not have an easy time when he arrives home. However I would be THRILLED to have the bed to myself!

I'd not be too happy. He's a grown azz man and if he's going to a party solo (and really, once you're married why are you partying solo?) he better make sure he comes home. I'm not fond of sleep away parties...call me crazy.

'I am definitely coming home. unless one of my friends breaks his leg and I have to carry him to the hospital, there is no way I am missing the ferry'
(probably b/c I told him that if he misses the ferry, he'll be missing his balls soon after )
He caught the 1 am ferry Saturday night...what a good boy!
