helping to pay for anything other than the rehearsal dinner (and they want to chinch on that...) would you still get them a parents album from your photographer or would you add more pages to your album and your parents (who are paying for everything) album?
Well my parents are divorced so I want each of them to get one. A third parent album will cost somehting like $600. So i plan on making the third parent album
My FILs only paid for the RD and we (DH and I) paid for the albums for both sets of parents.
i would get them a parent album regardless if they pay or not. it just seems strange just because they chipped too little or none that this might lead to their fate of recieving an album. jmo

It's not based on that alone. They are not interested in the wedding, cut me off when I try to include them and continue to tell me that we are wasting my parents money. I finally got sick of it and had a childish moment and created this post.
My FILs aren't even paying for the rehearsal dinner, and we are getting them an album and a gift - just more out of appreciation for what they've done for FI over the years.
My ILs were pains about money, we still got them the parents album. HOWEVER my parents paid for most of the wedding and refused flat out to pay for their album. So we asked our studio how much roughly the album was, and he gave us a figure, so we had ILs pay that much.
