I have my MOB in a gold dress that when the light hits its irridescent so it has green in it as well!!

My mom ended up getting a purple dress that was slightly lighter than the bm's. I honestly don't mind, esp after fmil tried wearing white!!! I figure nothing can be worse than that!

ITA. My mom is wearing a darker shade of purple. I'm fine with this too. In reality, my mom won't be in that many pictures with the bridal party anyway.

My girls are alternating purple and light blue... my Mom is wearing a muted purple gown that is completely beaded from head to toe!!! LOVE IT!

I hate the idea of a MOH in a different color dress, because it just off sets the BP. My girls will be in eggplant, as will my MOH. She will have a larger bouquet to set her apart from the other girls.

Oh, in that case, I don't think it makes much of a difference. As long as it's not The same color as the BP or the MOG, any color is fine.

I mean, there's only a handful of colors that are age appropriate for mothers....champagne, brown/mocha, dark blue, dark green, and eggplant ( which is obv out)... I dunno, maybe I'm too picky, but I don't think many other colors can really work, but that's just me.
