for the CH that you didn't like, what would you do? My hall has really boring (and not my style) centerpieces that are too small for the tables! They are the 10 seater rounds. I REALLY don't want to go and have to buy or rent something but I will I guess. What do you guys think?
ehh its CH... people are going to be up and moving around ayway. I wouldnt waste money on it....most people notice the reception CP but I cant recall one wedding where I remember the CH CP;s

I agree. I never notice centerpeices at Cocktail Hour. Peopl are eating, getting drinks and chatting it up. They won't even notice.
whay waste the money, I never remembered the CP's from any Ch, to be honest it wasn't until now (when I'm planning my wedding )that I notice the CH room
You guys are right, I guess have nothing better to do! I just read another post about someone worrying about the little details and how it's driving her crazy! So maybe I should just check my budget again!
my hall is giving us a dozen roses in a round bowl per table. I stopped by before a wedding last week and I didn't like them. They told me they will give me the flowers the day before and i can do what I want with them. So what i'm thinking is to give them to my florist and to use them towards a high centerpiece which is what I really want.
i could care less what the CPs look like at my CH. i really don't care if there's none at all, but i know WM includes them

i think it depends on your budget. can you change the flowers, or add some canldes around the table?

I know this sounds cheap but I was thinking of using the vases I have from my e-party and putting pillar candles in them (they had floaters for the other party) But my FMIL said I should def. ask if they have anything else.
I agree............. use candles!
I also wouldn't bother, nobody will notice them.

I didn't even know there were CH CPs. OMG, I'm going over tonight to put down another deposit, I'll ask and see what they say!!! I probably won't care at this point, most people will be talking and drinkings so no biggie.
The most I would do is put votives out on the table for CH. I wouldnt spend $$ on flowers.
My hall is providing CP for CH as well, and I do like them, problem is they are the same exact style that I wanted to use for reception, so now I have very small CP for CH that I love, and I'm trying very hard to find CP for reception that I like.
