If your husband has a long name and goes by the short version...
do you use that for address labels??
His name is Richard, but we all call him Rich (or Richie) and his new business cards say Richie (cuz there are 2 Mitchs at his job)

I think you can do whatever we want. We used his longer given name (Bradley) for our thank you note address labels, but for our more casual ones, we used Jackie and Bradley.

JT is really James Timothy, but no one would know who it was if we put James Timothy. He even thought about changing it legally to JT. So it would be the shorter version.

we don't have shorten-able names, but my aunt & unlce are always Kathy & Jim on their address lables, ( eventhoguh my family never calls her kathy) yet my dad is always Douglas, even thoguh most people other thatn my my mother & grandmother call him doug.
I have this issue with place cards. I'm doing them casual style--no mr & mrs, but I have people that NEVER go by their full first name , like people known as Butch & Cookie, but it seems weird to put that on a palce card.
