I'm pretty sure mine says its a surprise on the invite...but since its a surprise and it hasn't happened yet, I have no idea haha.

Roz's was apparently a surprise but it didn't say it on her invite

Mine isn't a surprise but I think it's going to say so on the invite and my sister did mail in RSVPs to avoid people calling or emailing me.

Mine was a surprise...but I'm pretty sure when I saw the invite it didnt say anything about it being a surprise.

Wont most people assume its a surprise?

a similar situation happened with my cousin's shower. she called me and told me that one of her friends just called her to tell that she is coming and how excited she is. tnx God her friend didnt say anything else. I then had to contact half of the guest list to make sure they were all aware that its a surprise. my fellow BM who got the invites forgot to put surprise on it.

Hmmm I don't think I've ever gotten a shower invite that says it's a surprise, I just assumed they all were.

OMG I am going through the same thing. Apparently my invite doesn't say it is a surprise and someone rsvp'd to me giving details. My name and number is not on the response so I don't get why someone would do that??? Then because it doesn't say surprise (even though it is SUPPOSED to be) on the invite, apparently people think they could talk about it in front of me. Too bad I know everything about it anyway.

yeah im pretty sure if it were a surprise itd be on the invite. how else would people know??

mine isn't a surprise and obviously doesn't say it is... some people asked my mom if it was a surprise before mentioning anything about it to me, others assumed it wasn't and just spoke freely about it

Yes I made sure to remind my mom to write surprise on the invite

This happened to me too. Mine wasn't a surprised but it still bugged me b/c I didn't really know much about it. Some of my friends did this for my bach party too which actually was a surprise and ended up not being a surprise for that reason. Oh well. They felt horrible about it when they realized I didn't know. I think esp with emails, people don't always think before they send them

Kinda wish it was a suprise...but nope...its not..they had no other way to get me there.
