If you're having an A list and a B list for invites...
How are you timing them. I was talking to my mom about this the other day and she said I can't send out my A list invites earlier than 6-8 weeks ahead of the wedding because people will 'forget' about my wedding. But then she said I can't send out the B list invites any later than 4 weeks before the wedding. She also doesn't think that the people will respond quickly because she wouldn't... Mom's quote 'I never respond to invitations right away - I don't know why, even if I know I'm going to go, I wait a while first. It's silly because it's so easy...' UGH! I hope the whole family isn't like this!
Anyway, how are you timing your A list and B list waves of invites?

I have an A list and a B list - and for every A list NO that I get in the mail I plan to send out a B list invite...if my B list gets really large I might have a 2nd set of response cards made up with a later date.

I have about 30 people on the B list but at least 25 A-listers would have to say No before I send out another invitation! As one of my friends said about her wedding, the tough part about having a B-list is that you get all the Yes'es first. Those that say No usually send theirs in last! I hope thats not the case with mine!
