If you're having your ceremony at the reception hall...

When are you doing your rehearsal? I've heard that most places do it the same day, but how does that work? FI and I are seeing each other before the ceremony, but I don't want to go through the WHOLE thing before the real ceremony Are some places flexible about letting you do it during the week? Since we're having a Saturday wedding, we were thinking maybe early Friday afternon. Also, are you having a 'rehearsal' dinner if you're doing the run-through on the day of? TIA!

We're doing our RD and such the night before where our OOT will be staying....however our CH will rehearse with us the day of the wedding also! I have a small BP so it's no biggie for us!

I didn't even think of this. Our officiant told us that we could have a rehearsal before but she didn't think that it was worth it because she has to do it again the day of. So we figured that we would just do it the day of but I wasn't thinking that I was going to see FH before, DUH! I obviously didn't think this through. The officiant also was the one who convinced us NOT to take pictures before so we wont see each other before the ceremony.

We arent having a rehearsal but I also have a very small bridal party so its no big deal to me, also a family friend is doing our ceremony so I am comfortable enough with him to do this. I am having a RD on Sun before the wedding. I have family who works in the city so during the week is no good and I refuse to have it the night before.
