how do you handle sending a gift?

I always send a small gift...or at least something on registry afterwards....

I always sent the response no and then get a card with a check to send right before the wedding

I always send something if I don't attend........if its someone really really close and I can't make it for scheduling reasons, I send a card with a check after I send the response......if its someone that i just don't want to go to, I send a check with the response.......

I always send something if I can't make it. If its a close friend/family memeber I'll send a card with a check separately from the response. If it is a wedding I just don't want to go to or the person is not close I'll send something off of their registry.

you guys are all very generous.

i will be needing everyone's address so i can send you invitations to the wedding in michigan that i'm sure none of you can attend.
