in NJ, we just went to an AWESOME wedding last night. it was at FLorentine GArdens, in bergen county not too far over into NJ
DH best friend and his new wife had their wedding there
( DH was a groomsman). the place was top-notch! gorgeous garden area for ceremony and pictures, awesome coctail hour with carving station, pasta station, cheese table, wok station, ice sculpture....
and then the reception! the ballroom was gorgeous! it was a daytime wedding, and they had these blinds that went up and down automatically to make it darker for their entrances and special dances so they could have the cool spotlights and stuff. they also had a photo montage before their introductions, AND a video recap at the end of the night. the screen for those was also down during all the special dances and toasts so if you were in the back of the room, you could see their facial expressions and stuff... so great!
the food was great, and the service was awesome. everytime i was up dancing and came back to my seat, my napkin was folded, they were great about bringing our drinks to the table and everything.
i'm sure it was a little pricey, but definitely worth looking into if you are having a wedding in NJ, or have a friend who is...
