If you're not that close with your dad..need song sugg.

My dad and I are only now starting to rebuild our relationship. (Parents divorced a long time ago)
I will have a mushy song for my step-father and don't want to hurt anybody's feelings. Any ideas for father/daughter dance?

I did it w/my brother, it was perfect, not too too mushy yet meaningful

I'm not close with my dad and we used My Girl...I chose it b/c it was upbeat and not mushy...

meanwhile DH and MIL were all about the mush

I am not very good at the wedding song stuff.. but maybe 'Its a beautiful Day' by U2..

Its not a typical wedding song, maybe, but its more upbeat and it will be a beautiful day!

Since you are rebuilding, which sounds like he is more involved in your life, maybe You are the Sunshine of My Life.

I agree with 'What A Wonderful World'...I think that would be the most appropriate. Not too mushy, yet meaningful.
