but are divorced, do you need to keep theold marraige lisence for anything? or are the divorce papers the only things you need to keep??? TIA

I haven't been married before, but I worked for a divorce attorney.
He can throw out his marriage license, but he needs his divorce decree to get remarried, that is very important.
If you are planning on marrying in the Church, he will need the marriage certificate, otherwise I would shred it!!!!
You can keep it iwith the divorce paper but you don't really need it. I don't have it. I have the divorce papers in a safe.
