If you've been to the diner across the Street from Babylon Town Hall, I need your reviews.. I went and....
Ok, first off I have to say WHY I was there. We went to Lindenhurst to see In & Out travel about our Honeymoon. It was early so we decided we’d do lunch after. We asked Dave to head us to a local food joint. He said ‘if you don’t mind diners I know one’ and Im thinking Fries and Hamburgers, no biggie, sure. He sent us over the Sunrise Hwy (I can’t remember the exact directions). We ended up in front of the Babylon Town Hall.
I ordered the Salmon Luigi (I think that’s what it was called) kinda risky at $16.99 for a DINER Salmon but I was hungry. Jim got a Gyro and played it safe.
OH MY GOD
My salmon came and this thing was huge!! And COVERED in Garlic Cloves that were perfectly cooked to explode with flavor and not acid like garlic. This thing sat on top of Asparagus and carrots and spinach with two huge broccoli sprouts on the sides with a twice baked chive spiced potato. It was WONDERFUL! I couldn’t believe how good it was. The tastes were nicely balanced and the serving was so much I took half home.
Jim’s Gyro he could barely finish (which is RARE, he can EAT) he didn’t get to finish his fries, which were also good.
We had Cream of Turkey Soup and him had a Greek salad to start. Jim doesn’t like greek salads but he said this one was wonderful. I loved that turkey soup. It was TASTY!
Ok.. so all this for like $30.
No way this can be true. So give me the dirt.. this place is rat infested or something? No way that a ‘diner’ can have such great food like that and not have a problem, right?
