I did, but that was his intention. He wanted to buy my wedding day jewelry.

I got beautiful diamond earrings.

I did NOT wear them on the wedding day.

I am getting a green amethyst ring that I have wanted forever and will be wearing it on my left hand.

I didn't but he got me a pandora bracelet so it really doesn't go with a wedding gown.

he did get me 3 charms with it though, a wedding cake, the key to his heart charm, and a pocket book charm

DH got me jewelry the xmas before (earrings) with the intention I would wear them for the wedding.

I ended up buying different earrings (2 pairs) both of which I decided were too bulky.

I ended up wearing the pair he got me.

So...I don't think you have to- but I know it meant alot ot him that I wore the earrings.
