I swear some people are CRAZY!!!! I would NEVER say anything like that to anyone especially someone who has asked me to be part of their wedding day. She has a big set!!!

I can't believe that. I would tell her it's your day not hers and it is an honor to be in a wedding and to suck it up. Some people have no idea on when to keep thier mouth closed. Sorry to hear about your bad day. Good luck.

What she said was rude.....but...I have heard similar things and have said similar because the girls are paying alot of money and hope they can reuse the dress in some way. However, it is YOUR day. It is you and your FH's decision. It is your decision.

Wearing the dress and the shoes is all part of being a bridesmaid.... if you have a problem with it.... you shouldn't be one.

It's a right of passage: We've all had to suffer through the taffetta and satin in 90 degree heat or for some a foot of snow just to have a dress you may not wear again take up space in your closet, get dye on our feet because the shoes bled..... they are battle scars - you wear them with pride. And then you get to put someone else through it for you!

i agree ... i don't want the bridesmaid look... i want them to look elegant
