Believe it or not my step-sister said the same thing. I had written another post one day on the whole story with her - shes gay and the dress is too dressy for her - you know what I mean. She thinks shes changing out of the dress after the pictures too!!!

You know what - at this point I dont care anymore. Its like dont do me any favors by being in my wedding party - Id rather pick a friend that would be honored and not complain!!!

This may just be the begining of things to come.....What's next on her hit list?? Hair style, makeup, jewlery etc. I would tell her if she feel that the dress you pick is not going to be something she wull be comfortable wearing all night, and you understand the cost involved, with the shoes to match etc. Then I would tell her 'I understand if you would rather step down from being in my wedding party and come as a guest. The last thing I want to do is have you unhappy on my wedding day, and would be happier to know you are coming as a guest, and you can then wear what ever you feel is appropriate and have a better time? And it's one less thing I have to stress about. (With a smile)

Then see how fast she staightens out, and if she chooses to step down, then her priorities are in how she will look that day, as opposed to it being your special day.
