maybe I'm missing something. She's getting married in the summer and you're not getting married until October....that's not close together at all.

i understand how you feel!!!!! i am the last one of my group getting married and i have been with my FH the longest ( we will be together 8 years on our wedding day! It ***** but there is nothing you can do about it. Just be happy for them and try to look past it. It will be better in the long run!! I was a little upset about my friends too but i was so happy for them and all the help i was giving them it didnt bother me too long!

It shouldn't tick you off. After being engaged for almost a year and a half plenty of couples have gotten engaged AND married during the whole length of our engagement. It doesn't bother me, people have to do what's best for them, not what might piss me off, even though it doesn't.

Wow, no offense, but I thought I was being ridulous because FH's friend planned theor wedding for 5 weeks before ours. You might be upset now but maybe you'll realize that you're a bit off in this situation. Sorry JMHO.

ETS: Saw you edited your first post...glad to see you snapped back into blusing bride mode!!!
