Im a big cry baby

So last night I was thinking that after all these years, and a few more to go, I am not going to live with my mom anymore! I've lived on my own before, have my own kid but, this time it will be for real!!! I'll be 35 when I walk down the isle that is 35 Christmas mornings with my mom, she'll have to sleepover Xmas eve,lol !
I love my mommy, even when she drives me crazy!!!

I think about moving out of my parents' home too (still live with them) and I get so sad to think that my mom wont just be right there in the same house Mom's had her own emotional moments coming to terms with the fact that I will be moving out for good one day. Times like this shes glad FH and I chose to have a long engagement! lol

It might be hard at first because you are leaving the nest. But, I live by myself and I speak to my mom everyday.

me too!! actually, moving out has made my mother and i closer than we were when we still lived in the same house. Now mind you, I didnt move out, my parents did... they moved to florida and i still live in our old house, but still, we dont live together..

sometimes it can be the best bonding thing... it forces you to really get yourself involved because you cant just say like 'oh i'll do it later' or like
'well you were there so i dont need to tell you the story' ya know?

I wish you and your son the best of luck. I'm sure that this is the right decision for you.

P.S. long island real estate prices are insane, so i wish you luck with that too.
