I'm a bit confused

I contemplated whether or not to make this post, but we all know what I decided in the end.

I know that Leonards has a policy that they will keep bridal parties separated if they have two weddings on the same day, but i'm still worried. The funny part is I wouldn't know this is happening if both me and the other bride were not members of this forum. Turns out that the other bride having her reception also at leonards on the same day as me has THE SAME DRESS. I'm not sure how to react. I don't want the day to turn akward for either of us. and I don't want to be one of those girls who are like: well, I booked the place first and bought my dress first......blah.
That's just not me. But at the same time, I'm not willing to change anything about my day, and I'm sure she doesn't want to either. I was thinking to sneaking up to her and congratulating her, but now I don't know.

Thanks for letting me rant, and any advice would be wonderful. How would you feel if this was happening to you?

I never really cared whether I saw another bride or not. I also shared Leonards with another bride on here and I didnt see her (not that I would have mind).
In my case they kept me away, because I actually wanted to take pics on the steps before the cocktail hour and since I arrived really early , they made me stay in the suite until the other party was done. So sometimes it depends, maybe stress the importance to your BM.

Honestly-I havent written my review yet on Leonards, but this wil be included in there...

I would let your BM know that you do NOT want to see the other bride. I told mine, but I had the worst Maitre D in the world, and I saw another bride.

I was just comin out of my main room-after takin a few pics w/just my husband in there, she had just come up on the elevator. The floor manager covered his head n said 'this wouldnt have hapened if ur MD was paying attention'.
i didnt get THAT upset, but i was stil upset....

just sure u dont get this guy:

What is his name? And why else was he horrible?? You can FM me if you want to, so I don't have the same problem. Thanks!

i was at JT and there was another wedding going on after mine and i never saw the other bride. but even if i had i would've just said 'congrats' to her and been on my way.

and i think its kinda cool if someone had the same dress. i'd definitey want to get a pic!

I don't really think that I would be that upset about seeing another bride on my wedding day. You booked the hall knowing that they do more than one wedding at a time and that their was a possibility of seeing another bride, so I don't think it is anything to get that upset over. JMHO! It is not like you have the same reception room, so your party will be beautiful and unique in its own way.

As far as having the same dress, that is so ironic! I think that is so cool and like a few of the other girls said, I would have my photographer take a picture of us together.

I hope that you don't get too upset over this because in the end you are marrying your best friend and nothing will change that! Just because their is another bride around or that you both have the same dress doesn't mean that the vows don't count. Your wedding will be the most beautiful and memorable day of your life!!!!

You know, I completely understand why you feel the way you do. I might've felt likewise.

In the long run, I'd take it in stride. Your bridesmaids aren't wearing the same dresses, you're not carrying the same flowers, you are probably doing your hair differently, and your jewelry is likely different. There are so many possibilities on how each of you will be different - focus on those.
