I'm Devon...I married Matt my DH on June 9, 2007! I had the best day of my life.

This board was some sort of miracle and I don't think I could've planned my wedding without. Although it became a serious addiction during the planning, it won't be forgotten when I'm a old & grey!

We share a lot of laughs.....a lot of drama.....tears.....stress, a little bit of everything. While I've only met a handful of you, I will miss this board.

it was the most amazing day ever!!!

that was amazing. i have the chills! I am a fellow 07 bride too!! I am Michelle and married my DH Anthony on June 16, 2007. I found LIW and it became an addiction to say the least. Then came LIF and this is now my most recent addiction. I have never met any of you girls in real life but love you all! I will add pictures later, as I am on my way to work... This was a great idea Devon!!!

I'm a 2007 bride.

I am Susi and I married the light of my life, Michael, on October 27, 2007, 389 days and 4 hours ago.
It was one of the best days of my life, bittersweet because my mom was not there to see it.
From all you wonderful ladies I got the ideas of doing a memorial candle and adding a bo-k charm to keep my mom a part of the wedding.

Planning this wedding was very different than planning my first (that never happened!) almost 20 years ago. Mostly because of a thing called the internet. I came across this site doing a search and got hooked on the cameraderie.

Thank you all for being there, for sharing drama and gripes, laughter and some tears along the way.

I'll never forget the alpacas.

Okay here goes....

I'm Tara and I married Brett on August 4, 2007. I came upon this site before he even proposed and it gave me TOO many ideas before we even started to plan the wedding- that I pretty much planned all the major stuff in one month! And the support from the amazing ladies on this site...I just couldn't have done it without them! Oh, their patience as I labored and constantly went back and forth on decisions.... I'll never forget you girls!

Even though we did not meet via LIW, I was at BunnyBride's (Diane) wedding. She's one of my oldest, dearest friends.
She makes me look like the amazon woman in this pic.




Jenafee (Jennifer) and I went to the same high school but did not know each other, so we met on LIW. I went to her ceremony. What a sweet, sweet girl and totally fun! She's now a mommy!




I also went to 0707Bride's (Kristin) ceremony- I was hired as her singer. She's such a doll.


Since I lived in NJ during my planning, I only got to go to one GTG, and that was in NYC. I met MrsQ-in2007 (Yesenia) and HelenZ - two of my favoritest (like that word?) girls on LIW! There were a few other girls there, but Yesenia and Helen still post from time to time so I thought I'd give them a shout-out.

There are tons of girls I never met in person but I feel 'close' to from over all of the FMs and random posts and special moments we've had here. you girls!

LIW was a blessing during the planning of my wedding - I got a ton of ideas from all the ladies on here and even made some wonderful friends that I truly cherish to this day. And who can forget the drama that made some boring days fly by!!!!!!

I am so thankful to my fellow 07 girls and LIW !! I learned so much and made so many great friends here !!! I was able to share so many moments with people who really care. And oh all the laughs we had on here I will never forget !! I hope to stay in touch with everyone and I wish everyone the best !!

I'm a of 2007!

My name is Jess and I married George on November 10, 2007. He is the love of my life, the life of my love.

I found LIWeddings at first, as a vendor ... before I was engaged.

When he finally did ask me to marry him, I couldn't wait to start posting as a bride-to-be! Over the last 2 1/2 years I have found LIW & LIF to be a priceless resource. I found so many wonderful ideas to personalize my wedding, and a fabulous group of girls (with a couple of brave men for good measure!) who are always there for each other.

I went through a very rough year dealing with a few things that started a month before my wedding day, and there are no words to express how grateful I am to the 07ers for supporting me and being there with advice and through every step of the way.

I am Hayley and my wonderful husband is Steve. The girls on this site have been right there by my side through the best day of my life... and were there for the worst one. I cherish the memories and even the drama!

It feels like FOREVER since I posted on this board!!

My boyfriend/baby daddy and I decided to make it official one day in July '06. I planned to get married in my backyard with a keg, a pop up canopy and some pigs in a blanket... and then I found LIW. Boy did MY plans change! I found out that petal cones and programs could not be overlooked! Table numbers and slipper baskets were integral - and bathroom baskets were a necessity!

A little under a year after joining LIF I joined my best friend Rob in marriage at the Hamlet Willow Creek in a wonderful ceremony that included our 2 sons. May 5th, 2007 was a magical day and I KNOW it would not have had half the creative, personal touches if I hadn't found this wonderful site and all of the wonderful ladies on here!

I wish all of you long, happy marriages full of love, laughter, health and joy.

Im Peggie and the hubster is Tommy, without LIW I would have eloped no really. I came on the site with NO INTENTION of ever posting, I mostly used the vendor listing...wound up getting ****** in some how and made a handful of friends and crazy girls who I cherish for the memories and all the good times to come. LIW made planning less stressful, less aggravating and more fun! In the end Im glad i did post bc I LOVE the 07ers!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I'm Patty and I married the love of my life, my soulmate, my best friend, my rock Jon on October 7th, 2007. I still can't believe that I have been married for 409 days, it seems like it was just yesterday that a friend recommended this site to me and it soon became an addiction. LIW & my fellow '07 brides helped me to plan the wedding of my dreams. Without LIW I would never have discovered my inner Martha Stewart and learned about crypacks, bathroom baskets and many more things. I thank all of the '07 ladies for their support, their ideas and their friendship!! Although I never met any of you in person (although I hope to one of these days) I love you all & wish you all a lifetime of happiness!!!

i'm Lori Beth.... i married my best friend Danny on October 7, 2007. it was the most amazing day and i cannot believe how lucky i am.

this board saved me from some serious messes and kept me very entertained at work as well and even thought i rarely, if ever, post here anymore, i always come on to check on my fellow 07 brides and the future brides as well.

I met my husband 6yrs ago - he finally proposed to me after 4yrs. When he did I had the wonderful experience of wedding planning with my grandmother who I adored deeply. During the process she b/c ill w/cancer for the 5 time. Because of this I ended up not doing alot of the wedding planning myself from being overwhelmed. I had hired a event/design planner to take the stress off of myself and that I could focus on my grandmother needs. We were to get married 5 days on the day we met.
We almost made it with my grandmother's attendance, and than she feel so ill the night before the wedding she ended up in the ER.
The wedding had to still go on.. but I didn't know how
All I did was for 14hrs straight and I couldn't figure out how I would walk down the isle being all swollen from being so hysterical and being without her.

As a result my husband and I decided to renew our vows for her as soon as the hospital could stabilize her illness.

We ended up with two weddings in less than 3 months. She hung on just for this event, sadly she passed less than 48hrs later.
I now celebrate both dates as they are very special to me.

So many things went wrong even though we hired an event planner - It made me want to help other brides so they would not experience what I went through and I also wanted to share the wonderful things that also took place.
Although I joined LIW early on I did not post till later, in the process I met some wonderful ladies that I know have turned into life long friends.
I thank LIW for that. Wishing all the future brides the best of luck in your planning....

and its crazy to think I was one of the 'first' brides to marry from this board on February 25, 2007. I married the most wonderful guy I could ever ask for, and his name is Pete.

This site has been something amazing to me and I didn't know I could make so many friends on here that would be more than just 'chat buddies'. From the Bridal Extravaganza to the special GTG for Nina (who didn't show up cause of a flight delay!), to the TWOTY 2007 to my own wedding and soooooo many weddings I attended, and one that I was actually in...especially for 2007, this site WAS my life.
