Hi everyone! My friend got married recently and although she was just a lurker, she was always talking about the great info she got from this site. I've been snooping around in here for a few weeks, because my gut told me the ring was on its way, and I was right! I realllly got something to be thankful for! I look forward to meeting/chatting with all of you.
P.S. The wedding is a LONG way off, FH (yay!) and I are grad students/starting out as teachers, and we need time to save save save!

Welcome and Congrats!!! I think you are one the first 2007 brides. I think there is one other for 1/1/07. When i got engaed i was also one of the first 2006 brides. the list of girls getting married in 2006 was so short, and now, i cannot believe how many of us there are out there! I love this site and i warn you...you will become addicted! Have fun and happy planning!!!

We're both in school, and I edit his papers for him allll the time. On Thanksgiving, he was adamant that I read one of his assignments ASAP - I was a little irritated, I kept saying 'You don't have to have it in until Monday! I have plenty of time to read it this weekend.'
He made me read it and it was soooo boring. I got to the last page and I was yawning, but at the bottom of the page, the paper said 'Turn around.' I turned away from the computer and there he was, on his knee with the perfect ring.
