First off, we started to make our card box! We have the basic set up done, now we just need to fancy it up! So excited to finish crafting it :)

It's easily my favorite thing we've purchased for the wedding! The drop top is easily opened and closed. The slot is very thin so i dont have to worry about the hearts getting flipped after people drop them in. I'm so so so happy with it. The hardest part is keeping it off facebook. Gotta keep some surprises for our guests

I just made the same guestbook for my wedding lol but it's a shadow box that opens like a book. How hard was making the cut outs for the cardbox? I'm scared mine are going to be so jagged and messy looking.
It was a little bit of a pain in the butt. We used an exacto knife and it did it pretty well. Some spots looked a little gnarly but once we glued the fabric on, you really couldnt tell. I figure any spots that have imperfections will be where we add decorations.
Now i just need to figure out what to throw on it! lol my poor FH is definitely getting dragged back to craft stores.

That's what we are planning to do for a guestbook but we want to try and make one!!! Looks great!
Thanks ladies!! I'm seriously so pleased with the guest book. FH wanted to try and make it but as time started winding down, I told him we has to choose 1 diy either guest book or card box. Cardbox won that debate haha. But I can't recommend the etsy seller of the guest book enough! She was great!
