I'm a Registry Peeker!

Yesterday, 12 items were marked off (all towels), and today 2 more (Toaster Oven & Rice Cooker)... OMG! I'm getting nervous! lolol... not really, but still, it's sooo exciting! I actually thought that I accidentally deleted items last night when I was updating it...

Yaaaaaaaaaay, we get to be dry after showers and have burnt rice & toast!

You are too much!! I have become a peeker...but not intentionally..I am always adding to my lists!! LOL...

I know I am getting my CHROME fry daddy!! Yippeee!

I'm a peeker too and totally dissappointed. We registered for the e-party cause im not having a shower. And the e-partyis on sat. no one has bought ANYTHING from them except my sister which is the toasting flutes and cake topper. I'm freaking out what if we get stuff that we dont want. I guess I'll have to wait till sat.

Do you think that most people think that you guys will have a shower? It's possible that guests are waiting until the last minute (today & tomorrow), too. If not, it's also possible that they plan on giving you $$$$$, and you could buy stuff off your registry yourself, and save 10%!

But let me ask you, did you send registry cards in the engagement party invitation? if not, then it's also possible that most guests don't know that you're registered yet - unless they've asked u.

I didnt send out cards, parents thought it was tacky, but they told everyone where we were registered.

I don't think that it would have been tacky. It plainly gives your guests the option of getting you guys something they know you need and would like.

I wouldn't worry too much...we got SOOO much stuff for our e-party...and I would say a bulk of it came off like the day before..like you I was freaking that we were going to get stuck with a whole bunch of things we didn't want! You will be surprised how many people do last minute shopping! Some people even bought stuff the morning of the party! (groomsmen )..I know because I had checked the night before the party and they hadn't been removed yet! We also had a few items from Fortunoffs that were not taken off of the registery...which was kind of annoying! People gave us giftcards to our registered places too...and money...which is always fun because then you get to go shopping! (or save it...which I have to say is not as much fun !) Don't worry too much!

And yes...checking the registery is extrememly addictive...they make it too easy! I promised myself I would only check it until at least one gift was removed....but of course before I knew it I was hooked! FH kept yelling at me to stop checking it because he wanted me to be surprised...but hey we picked it out! And I was still suprised to see who got what...and it was fun to see who bought first, and who waited until the last minute! I hope I am better before my shower...but I doubt it! They need a bride block on those things!
