My landlord is getting married today so I went upstairs to say hello and wish her luck and I started to cry. If this is any indication of how emotional I will be on my own wedding day I'm screwed!

Re: I'm a wreck....
awww, just the other day FMIL was telling me what she sees when she thinks about it and she wondered if my mother got 'upset' too...i said i had no clue but from what i have seen (she's in NC) that she is way too excited right now for me (and to come to the wedding) to be emotional....as for me, whenever i think about it or mess with actual wedding stuff (like tying favors, writing out invites...) i get all weepy.

Re: I'm a wreck....
I am actually thinking of having my tear ducts removed from my eyes.... because I don't think I am going to make it through my wedding! I basically start tearing up when my FH tells me he likes my hair!!! At least we know our day will be filled with honest emotion and tears of joy!!!

Re: I'm a wreck....
Well I'm certainly glad to see I'm not the only basketcase, lol. It was funny becuase I was probably the only person there to cry. I felt kinda stupid, lol. And I didn't want to say goodbye to the bride because I didn't want t a chain reaction cry fest. I really hope I'm too busy on my wedding day to cry.

I'm so glad to be reading this. Last week I went to the Macy's Flower show in NYC. FH is a landscape designer and has been working all night long on it for weeks. Well, I walked into Macy's and started crying! I must have looked ridiculous, standing in Macy's looking around crying

Re: I'm a wreck....
I thought I was going to be a basket case when I saw him at the other end of the isle but I suprised myself and him. The entire month before we got married HBO had Father of the Bride on almost everyday. And of course I watched (i love that movie) it and cried everytime the wedding scene came on. And i think it helped.

Re: I'm a wreck....
I attended the ceremony of a fellow LIW bride. When the church doors opened and she came through it took every ounce of strength I had NOT to start crying like a baby. I am hoping that with all the weddings I'm attending before my own I will get the crying out of the way, and be so overcome with joy on my own day the waterworks won't start. I will just have to remind myself that I'll ruin my makeup if I start crying!
