I'm almost done with my 'Bridesmaid Newsletter'!!!

I'll post it as soon as I'm done but I just had a question that I can use some opinions on before I'm done. I wanted to put some information on it about setting a date for bridesmaid dress shopping but I'm not sure if it's too soon to start looking? Should I not include anything about that yet? I was thinking about mentioning a weekend or weekday in July do you think that would be too early or ok if I'm sending them out now? Thanks!!!!

I'm goving mine in July, when I offically ask the BP, & i'm including a timeline of events til the wedding including a tenative weekend for the BP

I don't think it's too early. Especially if you are looking to do it over the busy months of summer. I know that my friends are always trying to find a weekend that we can all do something and it's so hard because everyone has lots of plans when it gets warm. If you stake the claim to a date now then it makes it easier!

Ok thanks...it's funny because usually when I ask a question I'm usually leaning toward one side but I just need that 'one person' to agree with me for me to decide 100%....you are officially that 'one person' thanks

I dont think its too early. I plan to start looking around the 1 year mark with my BMs. I would include it in the Newsletter.

i don't think it's too early at all! go whenever you want!!

can i ask what you're putting in your bridesmaid newsletter? i've never heard of doing this untill recently and everyone is talking about it.
i feel like i should do it too or else my bridal party will hear about it and then feel left out that they didnt get one but i have no idea where to start!

It's not a necessary thing to do...but I've seen a few people do and I feel like it helps keep everyone up to date and not in the dark about some wedding details. I'm only doing 2 or 3 (including this one) up until my wedding.

The information I'm including on my first one is...

- I introduced my matron of honor, bridesmaids, jr. bridesmaid and flower girl.

- Included basic wedding information...the date, location and time sof our ceremony and reception.

- I gave them an idea of when I'd like to start looking at bridesmaid dresses.

- Contact information of bridesmaids, I included phone numbers for MOB and MOG also.

The first one will be pretty simple...my next one will give some more detailed information, hopefully we'll have a dress decision made by then and possibly hair ideas and shoe ideas too. Also any more updates and important info I think they might need/want!
