Not meeting my minimum head count. I estimated I might be about 20 people short and I feel like it'd be a waste to call my RH to see if they would lower the head count, even if it was only by 10 people, b/c JT is known for NOT negotiating. Has anyone had this problem and was able to lower their head count?

When I went in to Jericho Terrace, someone had called about this. They were trying to lower their headcount because they didn't think they would meet it. It doesn't hurt to call them up, so you should at least try.

Honestly, I would wait and see what happens. Your hall will most likely not change your min, but they might be able to give you some throw in's possibly or include your vendors also in your Min.

We were under our min by about 12... our hall graciously allowed us to use the amount that equaled: 12 people x the per head price to get 'Extras'.. viennese trays, international coffees and cordials, etc.

You will have to pay your minimum but they shoud throw in a few extras.

No harm in asking and if they don't, tell them you want to take home the extra dinners your paying for - since no one will be eating them - then give the dinners to parents and friends.
