I'm an Aunt!!!!!!

My soon to be sister in law gave birth to a baby BOY yesterday morning!!!! He was 8lbs 13 oz (and she is like 95 lbs) and 20 1/4 inches long.

She went with natural childbirth (NO DRUGS ) and was in labor for 13 hrs....Hard labor for 2 hours!!

The baby came out a bit distressed and was under observation but after 12 hours of observation he is now in the room with my brother and soon to be SIL

They live in California so I will be going there March 19 and I can't wait!!!!

Can you tell by how excited I am that this is the first child in our family!?!?!?!??!?!

About the name. My brother is a bit nutty (always has been) and my FSIL is too! The first name is Anthony (after my dad) but they are giving him a middle name (which they haven't picked yet) which they will call him. I think they should call him Anthony (which is what they are doing so far) but they like crazier names for instance...Sprigley (!?!?!?!!) When he told us this we almost hit the floor. Thankfully they are over that. Now they are deciding between Brighton and Hawkin. Now these names are OK but we have an Italian last name and it just doesn't go. I have a feeling they might stick with Anthony (with some persuading from the family) but who knows. The baby goes home tomorrow so they must decide. FH says it doesn't matter..if they give him a crazy name he is still calling him Anthony
