I'm an idiot

Step dad who has been there almost my whole life and I got into an argument this summer about me getting married. We are both geminis. He gives me a hard time about everything. It ended in a screaming match with him saying he wasn't coming and me saying I don't want you. We are both stubborn and this whole time we said nothing to one another, he would ask my mom about the wedding and tell her that he wanted me to have what I wanted. mom urged me to talk to him but I wouldn't. FH never had a father (dad died at 1)and he was bothered that we behaved this way. Anyway on New years eve I reflected and knew that I needed to change for me and let my anger go. So I went up to my dad and asked him if he would come to the wedding and he said he wouldn't miss it for anything. The funny thing is that he is more interested in seeing my dress and my invites and stuff more than my mom. He even told mom that he wants to loose weight.
