i'm back :)

Hello everyone

I never got to say goodbye before going on my HM and i felt so bad about that ... i was just running around like a headless chicken and had no time to do anything. Sorry bout that.

Anyway, I'm back now

DH and I had a great time in Hawaii ... we went on a cruise so we got to see each of the islands. We liked Maui the most - it was what we had imagined Hawaii to be. We did so much in the past 2 weeks - it was weird walking into our apartment yesterday - we felt like we were in a stranger's house

so what did i miss while i was gone?

um.. you haven't missed much at all.. the boards are pretty DEAD.

i sprained my ankle with 7 weeks to go, and it still hurts and I am hoping and praying to god I do not have nerve or ligament damage. LOL.

but other than that things are moving pretty good.

I can'tg believe that Flowers by gina thing is STILL not resolved ... it was already ridiculous to begin with, now that it's been over a month, it's extra-ridiculous!!!!

Here are the details:
We went to Vancouver first for one day. Didn't really do much there since we were exhausted from the flight. We walked around and whatnot, but that was about it. Then we went on our cruise (through Carnival) - 6 days at sea followed by 7 days on the hawaiian islands.

The 6 days at sea were fun - DH won the hairy chest competition even though there was another guy who was 10 times a hairy (DH won based on personality) ... DH also got hypnotized and doesn't remember any of that hour ... but it was hilarious. People were coming up to him for the rest of the cruise telling him how great he was. He was famous

Then we were at Kona (Big Island) where we walked around and went jet skiing. Then to Kauai for more shopping & walking. Then back to Big Island (Hilo) where we went bike riding down a volcano. It was sooo much fun but a little scary since we were going pretty fast! Got some awesome pictures there though! After that, we went to Maui. We drove the road to hana (i thought i was going to die since DH was driving too quickly at some parts lol) and then a luau at night (the Feast at Lele which was awesome!). Our last stop was Honolulu and we had a Lost tour (the tv show) ... it was really cool! it was kind of funny because some of the things looked familiar in person, but when we looked through our pictures, they were identical ... guess we needed to see them on a screen Also in oahu, we went to diamond head ... that was nice but we were sooo tired by the time we got to teh top

Sounds awesome. We loved the Road to Hana - did you get to the state park and hike the trails?

We didn't do too much hiking on the road to hana ... only a little bit here and there. There was once place where we were supposed to see some Panited Eucalyptus trees and we hiked there for about 15 minutes and didn't see anything but bamboo and a river (which was actually cooler than the trees). And then again at one of the arboretums on the way. That was pretty much the extent of our hiking there
