to plan an entire wedding! FH and I have moved up our wedding date from October 10 to July 15 and are now planning a much, much, much smaller, more intimate wedding and we've got about 2 weeks to do it. This should certainly be very interesting, to say the least.

Thanks, ladies! It's been tough and it took a while for me to be in the right mindset to make the decision, but I feel so much better about things and now I'm getting married in 63 days!

Hey Jennshari....sadly, Jenny2Penny's wedding was called off and her hall is available fora small wedding party of 50-80 people....you should FM her for more info.....
ETS: I'm a knucklehead...I just re-read and you moved the date up and her date is too far away. nevermind!

Ronie, yes 2 weeks. I need this thing planned and booked and everything by June! How much more last minute do you want me to get?? Sheesh.
Sorry to hear about Jenny's wedding being called off. That really sucks.
I'm working on the vendors and hopefully won't have to cancel them all, but I'm most worried about the WCC. I have to go there tomorrow and talk to them and I'm worried that they'll give me a hard time. FH is still sick and not working and I've gotten sick as well in the interim, so we're really just a mess and just want to get married.
I do get to go buy a new dress, though. There's no way I can wear a heavy satin ballgown in the middle of July, and it's too formal anyway. Besides, who doesn't want 2 dresses?

Maybee you can do an afternoon wedding at WCC and they can apply the money you paid already towards it.

We already were doing a Sunday afternoon and now we're moving to a Thursday. We have a 125 person minimum, and we're only inviting about 30 people. WCC is totally out at this point. But thanks for the suggestion.

You're so sweet!!!! Congrats on your wedding, by the way! I think it will be fairly easy to plan once we get the ball going. We only really need to find a place for our meal after the ceremony, and the rest will pretty much take care of itself. That's the bonus of a really small wedding.
